Shop car: Project Freight Train

This is our new shop Project Car, Freight Train. A 1999 Chevy Camaro Z28 M6. Car has been purchased as a roller with no motor and no tranny. The plans call for a build thread on LS1tech.com and Carbedlsx.com, and of course right here. We are going to be placing a 12:1 414" LS series motor, L92 heads, Solid Roller cam, Victor Jr intake, and a Dominator car with Nitrous. We will also convert over to Fuel Injection after we get the chassis and nitrous sorted out.  Backing up the motor will be a Monster Level VI clutch, and a Morris Motorsports T56 . We are also in the middle of doing a full 25.2 Chassis for Freight Train, all done in houseFollow along with us and check back often for updates......

....well guys, so far, as of Aug 14th, we have been able to pull out over 200 LBS (gonna weigh it to give exact numbers later on) by yanking the speakers, amp, sway bar, foglights, cruise control, spare tire, tire tool, jack, HVAC Box, Air Bag, rear seats, inner plastic fender panels, emissions equipment, heat shields, un-used brackets, bolts, 1 of the horns (FBody cars are equipped with 2), washer reservoir and pump, etc.... Next up are the front and rear bumpers, sound deadening material under the carpet, metal inner fenders, and anything else that we can get rid of that is "unneccessary"  for the Freight Train!

Nov 19th...check back with us, more pics to come
